Kate is really exploring with language and sounds lately. In the last few days, she has been LOVING her B's. Any sound that starts with a B, she's made it! Her particular favorites are Baa Baa (what the sheep says!) and Buh Buh. It's very cute.
Eating solids is going very well. She gets very excited when I strap her into the high chair, she smiles, laughs, coo's, and Buh Buh's at me. Sometimes the rice cereal goes flying because she's so busy with her B's that it comes flying back. :) So far we haven't ventured past rice cereal, but I think we'll start with vegetables when we get back from Minnesota.
In other news, poor Kate is sick, but not really. I think I mentioned before, she got sick in Atlanta, but she's been running a low grade fever ever since. She's been to the Pediatrician twice, but they don't see anything wrong with her - neither do I. She's acting completely normal and happy, just that fever running in the background. They first put her on Ammox, but that didn't do anything, so now they have her on Suprax. The good news is that her temperature has been under 100 degrees since yesterday, so I hope and pray that continues. They said if it goes back to 100 or more, she'll need to go back in for more testing. Poor little thing! And I really hope that her temperature stays down because of our trip to Minnesota, I really hope we can still go! I'd hate to cancel it!
I've had to make a little shopping trip to buy new clothes for Kate for Minnesota, since it's a little cooler up there. Here's one of the outfits I bought! I think it's my favorite!

The lady at Carters said that Kate reminds her of a baby chick with all the fuzz on her head. So funny!
